 Do you want All-on-4 dental implants, but aren't sure if they're the right solution for you because of things you've heard or read online? There are a number of myths about this amazing dental option, some of which are very wrong. Here are some of these common myths and why they're not correct. All-on-4 Implants Are ExpensiveWhen All-on-4 implants were first introduced, they did cost more than they do today. Advances in the process and in the technology used to create and install the implants has changed over time, and today, this dental solution is much more affordable. We also offer payment plans that allow everyone to take advantage of All-on-4 implants without putting themselves at financial risk. They Take Too Long to Install Again, there was more truth to this rumor when All-on-4 implants were first available, but it's no longer true today. The implanted posts can often be installed in one procedure, and there's no overnight hospital stay or anything like that. In most cases, you're back to your normal daily routine within a week at most, and most people recover within about four days. There are a few follow-up visits to make certain your implants are stable and that your teeth are perfect, but that's it. It's Painful to Have All-on-4People also believe the myth that the installation process or simply having All-on-4 implants is uncomfortable or downright painful. While it is certainly true that having implants installed isn't pain-free, the recovery time isn't that long. Again, most people are back to their regular daily activities within four days. After about four weeks, your gums will be fully healed, and you shouldn't experience any pain or discomfort. During the procedure, we do offer different levels of sedation.
